Lately we’ve been thinking a lot about what actually lasts.

Children growing up in open fields. Recipes that become family traditions. A wooden table worn by years of meals together.

The things we treasure most were never rushed into our lives. They were gathered slowly.

Slow Down Market grew out of that belief.

That homes are meant to be built carefully. That beautiful things should be chosen thoughtfully. That the objects we live with every day eventually become part of our family story.

We’re Jess and Joey Markoya, raising our five (6th on the way🤎) children here in Middle Tennessee and learning — little by little — how to build a life that moves at a better pace.

Slow Down Market is simply an extension of that life.
